We Need YOU!

We need people to help birds. Our volunteers come from all walks of life to generously donate their time and talents to helping pigeons and doves. Some help one day each week, some give one or two hours most days, some help out on specific tasks or projects and others give even more. All are compassionate, motivated, reliable. They know the birds are depending on them. We appreciate all of it! Our volunteer roles offer opportunities for meaningful participation in bird rescue.

The first step to becoming a volunteer is to review our current volunteer opportunities and select your primary interest.

• • • Foster Home/Aviary Provider Pigeons and doves need foster care to bridge them from rescue to home (Complete this application)
    • Community Outreach Friendly, communicative, no experience required- we train.
    • Rescue & Transport Assistance Transportion required (either private or public) to pick up & deliver birds (all over the area)
    • Social Media/TikTok Wrangler Palomacy has great photos, stories and followers but we need marketing talent
    • Aviary Cleaning and Foster Flock Care Clean up after pigeons and socialize them one shift a week (Currently Alameda only)
    • Graphic Design Assistance Help creeate the images, graphics, assets, and visuals to rescue and rehome pigeons and doves
    • Adoptions and Placements Development Rescued pigeons and doves need adopters! Inspire and guide applicants, partners and sanctuaries.
    • WordPress Guru We use WP with our basic skills but need your fancy ones
